EDITING
I've been editing for over 11 years and it's probably the part of filmmaking that has shaped me the most. It started as a hobby, cutting together videos simply because I loved telling stories but over time it became the skill I've spent the most time refining. Since then, I've worked on everything from YouTube content and short films to branded projects and independent productions, developing an editing style that balances storytelling with pace, rhythm and emotion.

A big part of my professional experience came from working as Creative Producer for Jacksepticeye, where editing was a core part of my role. Working on content for one of YouTube's biggest creators taught me how to work efficiently without compromising quality. Every project came with its own creative challenges, whether that was finding the right pacing, building tension, creating comedic timing or adapting edits to suit different audiences. It also meant working to tight deadlines, managing large amounts of footage and making creative decisions that kept the content engaging from start to finish.
My experience also extends beyond post production through my time as a Distribution Assistant at Bulldog Film Distribution, where I supported the promotion and release of feature films, helping prepare marketing materials and promotional assets while gaining valuable insight into how films are positioned for audiences. Over the years, I've become highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom, giving me the confidence to manage every stage of post-production from organising footage and building edits from the ground up to colour grading, sound design and final delivery. For me, editing is about far more than cutting clips together.
