ABOUT ME

HEY THERE

Hi, I'm Hannah Weatherall, a filmmaker, creative producer and photographer

based in the UK.

I studied Film at the University of Brighton, where I realised that I                                                                          didn't just want to work in the industry, I wanted to be involved in                                                                          every part of the creative process.

Since then, I've been lucky enough to work across digital media, commercial productions and independent film, taking on roles that have allowed me to develop as a writer, director, producer, editor and photographer. I love wearing different hats and over the years I've found that every role has made me a stronger storyteller.

One of the biggest highlights of my career has been

working as Creative Producer for Jacksepticeye, where I

helped produce content for one of YouTube's largest audiences.

Alongside that, I've freelanced as an Assistant Director, Photographer and Editor, directed my own short films, written original screenplays and gained experience in film distribution with Bulldog Film Distribution.

Having worked on both the creative and business side of filmmaking has given

me a much broader understanding of what it takes to bring an idea to life and

get it in front of an audience.

I'm drawn to projects that have something to say. I like stories that feel honest,

characters that feel real and visuals that stay with people long after they've

watched them. Whether I'm directing a narrative film, shooting behind the

scenes, editing a documentary or working on branded content, I'm always

thinking about how every creative decision serves the story.

I'm also someone who's happiest when I'm making things. I enjoy being on set, working with people who are just as passionate as I am, figuring things out when plans inevitably change, and finding creative solutions along the way. I don't think filmmaking is about having all the answers, it's about staying curious, being open to collaboration and never losing the excitement that made you pick up a camera in the first place.

This portfolio is a collection of the work that's shaped me so far. Every project has taught me something different, introduced me to incredible people and pushed me to grow as a creative. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy looking through my work and if you'd like to collaborate, I'd love to hear from you.
